Orders – Returns

Unpack carefully within 2 business  days from receipt of goods. If tape/seal/carton is damaged in any way, report this in the presence of the carrier/driver. Do not throw original packaging/boxes, since this is requested by the Courier insurance.

We will not be able to accept the return of items that are not in their original packaging, since we cannot sell them to other clients nor return to the vendor.

Check contents against packing slip and note any missing or damaged items.

Report Damages and/or Shortages to The Yacht Shop Team and the carrier within 2 business days from the receipt of goods. Items must be returned in their original packaging and in new condition.

The courier will inspect the parcels damaged to determine if damages were made during transportation.

The estimated delivery date for an order is subject to incidents beyond the control of The Yacht Shop, to include but not limited, to Strikes, Lockouts, Labor, Transportation, Customs Clearance, Securing Merchandise, Inclement Weather, Accidents, Fire and the unavailability of the Buyer. If there are any interruptions to meet delivery dates, the delivery date shall be extended without liability to The Yacht Shop.

If for any other reason you are not satisfied with an item, please let us know within 2 days by email at info@theyachtshop.com. In the case returns are accepted by the corresponding brand/manufacturer, we will issue a credit note for the cost of the item minus a 15% administration fee, which our supplier charges us since they have to collect the items, repack them and put them back in stock.

In the case you would like to return items, all shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item(s) are incorrect.

Please note that if products are returned, a credit note will be drawn up, no refund will be given.

Special and/or Custom Orders: All special, custom or monogrammed orders are non-cancelable and non-refundable. All custom orders are subject to a service and design fee for the coordination and design of such work, which will be quoted separately. Please take careful consideration when approving quotations.

Samples

We kindly request that you return the samples we sent in their original packaging, with their original labels and tags attached. Samples cannot be returned used, with stains or washed.

We will not be able to accept the return of items that are not in their original packaging, since we cannot sell them to other clients neither return to the vendor.

We need to receive at our office the samples in maximum 2 weeks from the date you receive them. If it is easier for you, we can arrange collection with our FEDEX/UPS account at customer expense.

In the case the items are not returned in the same form they were received a €50 handling fee will be charged, in order to cover the cost of restoring the items to a suitable condition in order to return to the vendor or sell it to another client.

Restocking Fee for specially ordered samples: For items that are not usually carried on stock a restocking fee of 15% would be charged as a portion of the fee that our supplier charges us to return the items.

Samples shipment costs will be assumed by customer.
